Displacement due to Water-Related Issues in India: Perspective on Climate Change and its effects on Human Rights

How to Cite this Report: YL Cube. (2022). (rep.). Displacement due to Water-Related Issues in India: Perspective on Climate Change and its effects on Human Rights (I, Vol. II, Ser. E). New Delhi, India.

The study seeks to penetrate deep into the Indian perspective of water-related issues and climate change and how the stakeholders and the front liners are getting affected due to it. The Assam floods of 2022 are real-life examples of why this study is necessary. By introducing concepts such as human-induced disasters, sustainable development, national policies,
mitigation and adaptation, this study tries to address all the national issues. The international perspective of human rights is also discussed alongside the national perspective.

The key highlight of this study is the region-wise study of India. Northern India, North East India, Eastern India, Western India, Bihar, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra are discussed explicitly.

Menstrual Rights and Equity: Gender Studies

How to Cite this Report: YL Cube. (2022). (rep.). Menstrual Rights and Equity: Gender Studies (I, Vol. II, Ser. III). New Delhi, India.

In general, it is argued that menstruation is a biological process, a stigmatised sociocultural event, and a masked aspect of the individual human experience. Menstrual experiences do, however, appear to have existentialist roots as well. As menstruation subjects, women and other marginalised genders keep their menstrual bodies inside the confines of customs and etiquette guidelines.

The present study analyses the concept of Menstrual Rights and Equity from the lens of Gender and its role in the world.

Alternative ways to Reduce Carbon Emission: Electric Vehicles

How to Cite this Report: YL Cube. (2022). (rep.). Alternative ways to Reduce Carbon Emission: Electric Vehicles (I, Vol. III, Ser. E). New Delhi, India.

Driving causes greenhouse gas emissions and contributes to local air pollution. With gasoline-powered vehicles, fuel is combusted in the vehicle, and emissions come from the tailpipe. For electric vehicles, fuel use happens at the power plant. Electric vehicles may be dirtier or cleaner per mile of use, depending on how the electricity is generated. The study analyses recent policy initiatives and subsidies introduced by the state government to replace conventional vehicles.
