Restorative justice is a broad label that encompasses a plethora of different models, roughly bound together by the belief that the traditional criminal justice system ignores the step of rebuilding the sense of justice because of its offender-centric approach. Victim-Offender Mediation is a process that focuses on the victims and offenders and helps facilitate a dialogue between the two parties. In this article, an attempt has been made to understand the process, and a further attempt has been made to understand the advantages of this mode.
